Who We Are

Seconds Consulting was born in 2023, when our Managing Director, Thomas Foulser, embarked upon his first consulting project.

With over twenty years of experience in the hospitality and foodservice sectors, Thomas has worked in, managed, launched and led free houses, managed houses, farm shops, cafés, high-end wet-led establishments, bar and restaurant groups, central production units and catering divisions, and he has held permanent and interim (consulting) roles both as Commercial Director and Managing Director across a number of companies.

There are two eternal truths in all such businesses: delivering more is the order of the day every day; and there never seem to be enough hours in the day to meet all that is demanded.

In such an environment, it is easy for stakeholders at all levels to be pulled towards — and distracted by — the most pressing and urgent operational concerns, rather than determining and deliver upon the most important requirements, be they operational, tactical or strategic. That is where Seconds Consulting comes in…
